    from Regina Leader Post- 18 April 1936-- Mrs. E. Swanick passes away at Arlington Beach.-- the death of Mrs. Ellen Swanick occurred at the home of her only daughter Mrs. Mary A. Horne (sic) Tuesday afternoon, She was 91 years of age. Mrs. Swanick was born in Uxbridge, Ont. in August 1844. In 1910 , the family moved from Manitoba to the Govan District where they have since resided. She leaves to mourn her one daughter Mrs. Mary Ann Horne (sic) of Govan, four sons Fred of Pelly Sask., Angus of Govan, Albert & Herman of Cymric. There are four grandsons and two granddaughters. Mrs. Swanick's husband predeceased her in 1928, and one daughter, Elizabeth in 1896.
