Elizabeth, daughter of late Joseph Scott, Glasgow merchant, married Martin Mowbray Stephenson, Stirling, 11apr1843 at Greenbank, nr. Gourock (inverclyde.gov). Elizabeth was counted in a census 1851 in Forth Place, Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland (R. Stephenson). James Morison Stephenson (1802-57, brother of Martin Moubray Stephenson (1797-1850), brother in law of Elizabeth Scott) married in 1824 Anne Catherine Corney nee Harterton; Ann had been married to Matthew Corney (1787 Whitby, Yorks-1823).
