Biography of Elizabeth Ann Richey

Elizabeth Ann Richey was born 30 Jan 1814 in South Carolina. She married a cousin, William Richey, in Jefferson County Alabama on 17 May 1832. Little is found of William Ritchey in Jefferson County without doing further research. They were not found on the 1850 census by this author. They had a daughter, Caroline, who married Milton Mosley Ratliff from Alabama and he was killed in the Civil War. Caroline had two children by Ratliff and she returned to Pine Forest where according to an interview with Earl Hudson Richey in 1953 by Gerald Post Sr, she married Green McAfeeS1. Caroline Richey McAfee is buried in Pine Forest CemeteryS2.
