From Poole researcher: "Elizabeth A. Poole is identified in the probate of Pearcy Poole's Will, dated July 5, 1845. It is assumed she was identified as 'Betcy' in the earlier writing of the Will. Elizabeth is shown living next to her brothers, James and Jackson W. Poole, married to Abel Stowell, in the Federal Census taken from Afton, Chenango Co., New York dated August 10, 1860, as well as other Federal Census reports.

A posted genealogy that includes Elizabeth Poole Stowell gives her death date as May 3, 1899. It further states that her mother's name WAS "Mary Smith", married to Pearcy Poole. Researcher is hopeful she might exchange emails on this site and exchange further data with them. Site accessed Feb. 8, 2005.

Janie Kimble's note: She apparently married in May of 1845 just a month after her father died.
