From Poole researcher: "In 1860 Federal Census, an Emiline Olendorf (age 41) is showing living in family group of Poole's in Chenango Co. "Emiline" was named in the Will of Pearcy Poole, and at this time of writing, I am wondering if she isn't widowed and living with her children near her brothers/sisters? She is noted as being a "Seamstress", which would seem to indicate she is the family's provider."

Jackson researcher: "Emiline Olendorf, found in Afton, Chenango Co, NY 1860 Census was living with her children Oscar 21, Albert M 19, Jane A. 16, Juliette, 14 and Robert M. 11. Her sister, Elizabeth Poole Stowell and her family were next household.
