WARREN -- Mrs. Elizabeth F. Nippell, 89, 14755 Robinson Road, Lake Milton, formerly of Howland Township, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Nippell was born Feb. 15, 1904, in Minerva, the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Helman) Latimer.
On Sept. 1, 1928, she married Wesley R. Nippell, who died July 2, 1966.
A graduate of Warren High School, she was one of the original volunteers at CONTACT.
Mrs. Nippell was a lifetime member of Central Christian Church and a member of its Priscilla Circle. She had enjoyed knitting and reading.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ken (Susan J.) Stoddart of Lake Milton, with whom she had made her home; and a granddaughter. Three sisters, Misses Helen M., Ruth and Jane Latimer, preceded her in death.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Robert H. Roberts Memorial Home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to the Church memorial fund.
