!Information on the Hazard families comes from the book Colonial Families of the United States, Vol III, George Norbury Mckenzie, Genealogical Pub Co, 1966.
In his will dated 30 Nov 1669, Thomas Hazard named his daughter Elizabeth, wife of George Lawton. (Austin, p 320). There are 55 family trees posted on rootsweb that show that Thomas' daughter, Elizabeth married Henry Brightman. Most of these also show her married to George Lawton. These trees appear to have been copied and uploaded to werelate.org. No documentation has been given on this site for Elizabeth Hazard, daughter of Thomas and Martha Hazard, being married to Henry Brightman. Accordingly, the marriage has been deleted.

'ELIZABETH HAZARD, b. say 1630; m. by about 1650 George Lawton (the children of this couple appear to have been born in the 1650s and 1660s [Austin 121-22]).'
Note: Their daughter Mary married in 1662, so was likely born a few years before 1650. Elizabeth's birth year is therefore estimated a few years before 1630.
