"Mother Bailey:
Elizabeth Bailey was born August 8, 1814, and died April 14, 1902, aged 87 years, 8 months and 6 days. She was born in the state of Ohio and moved with her parents to Indiana in childhood. She was untied in marriage to John Bailey September 28, 1833. To them were born seven children. He husband and four children have preceded her to the future world. She moved with her family to Tama county, Iowa, in the spring of 1855 to Carrol township, and two years later to Toledo. She was converted more than fifty years ago and united with the Methodist Episcopal church soon . . ." (rest of obit not posted.)
