Elizabeth GRANGER, born about 1733, married about 1751 to Alexandre DAIGLE [no parents listed for either]; nine children listed, born from 1752 to 1773. In 1752 she and her husband and a son Charles were residents of Riviere-du-Nord on Isle St. Jean. In 1758-1759 this family was transported to Boulogne-sur-Mer in France. On 28 May 1766 she and husband and three children arrived at St. Malo from Boulogne on the brigantine "Le Hazard," where they resided at St. Servan from 1766-1772. On the christening of their son Alexis-Maturin DAIGLE in 1763, the godmother was Marguerite GRANGER [her sister Marguerite would have been 23 years old, married with one child of her own]. On the christening of their son Joseph, a twin, in 1770, the godfather was Charles GRANGER. References
