[His brother is listed a few pages later as Jean Baptiste DAIGLE, age 22, with wife and daughter.

    On the 1795 census: Maturino D'AIGLE, age 33, with Maria LEVRONS, 33, and two children, Juan Bautista, age 3, and Josef, age 1 [their first two sons are missing on this census].
    On the 1797 census: Mathurin DAIGLE, with his wife Marie LEVRON, both age 34, and two sons: Jean Baptiste, age 4, and Joseph, age 2.
    In 1798: Mathurin DAIGLE, with his wife Marie, both age 35, and three children ages 6 to 1. They have 4x40 arpents of land.

He was listed just after Mathurin TRAHAN, a printer aged 24, and his wife. Just after him was the family of widower Charles DUGAT, 46 [who had been married 1st to his aunt Marguerite GRANGER]. Upon debarking, Alexis received the allotment of 1 each of: axe, shovel, meat cleaver; two of hoe & hatchet.
