Alexandre DAIGRE, born 1730, son of Pierre & Madeleine GAUTEROT, married around 1750 to Élizabeth GRANGER [no parents given]; four children listed. He was at Isle St. Jean in 1752. Some members of this family were at Boulogne-en-Mer in 1765, and in Louisiana around 1785.

Alexandre DAIGLE & Elizabeth GRANGER and their son Charles are there.

Alexandre DAIGLE, born about 1729 [no parents given], married about 1751 to Elizabeth GRANGER, born about 1733 [no parents given]; nine children are listed. In 1752, Alexandre, Elizabeth his wife and Charles Daigle, their son were residents of Riviere-du-Nord on Isle St. Jean. In 1758-1759, this family was transported to Boulogne-sur-Mer in France. On May 28, 1766, Alexandre [DEGLE], Elizabeth his wife and their children: Alexis-Maturin, Jean-Baptiste-Alexandre, and Elizabeth Daigle arrived at St. Malo from Boulogne on the brigantine "Le Hazard." They resided in the parish of St. Servan from 1766-1772.

Family #100 was Alexandre DEGLE, 37 years old, of Acadie, living at St. Servan with his family, including his wife Elizabeth GRANGE and three children. Jean-Baptiste-Alexandre was their 1-year-old son, the youngest.

Alexandre DAIGLE was born around 1729 (no parents listed), married around 1760 to Elizabeth GRANGER, who was born around 1733 (also no parents listed). Only one child is listed: Charles-Daniel DAIGLE, who died at age 6 and was buried 18 Sep 1779 at Saint-Similien of Nantes, France. Alexandre DAIGLE, Elizabeth GRANGER, his wife and family of 8 persons were in the Fourth Convoy leaving Chatellerault for Nantes from 6 Mar to 13 Mar 1776. [Jean Baptiste A. was age 10.]

He lived successively at Boulogne-sur-Mer, St-Servan in Bretagne from 1763 to 1773, then at Chatellerault, Vienne. Alexandre [sic, this was his son Alexis] left Nantes [for LA] on "La Bergere" as family #54 on 14 May 1785.

In livestock they have 1 ox, 1 cow and 1 sow. The land on which they are settled at Riviere du Nord was given to them verbally by M. de BONNAVENTURE. They have made no clearing, "having been there only a short time."
