   Dr. G. E. Noggle, county health officer, has returned from Roseberry, where he went to attend Kay Scott, whom he found ill with smallpox. the doctor quarantined the house and also closed the public school for two weeks, as the teacher, Miss Effie Scott, had been an inmate of her brother's home.

K. of Cascade, Leonard Scott of Emmett, Idaho, and Asa R. Scott of Yreka, California; two sisters, Effie S.
