In the 1850 Census for Clarke Co take 11 Oct by JH Christy Diana is listed at age 1 born Ga, along with JL & Sarah, & sisters Laura B, Ida & Eva. May 1996: Per family group sheet from Louise Shiflet: Dianna (Cissy) Wozencraft b ca 1849, m 12 July 1877 Polk Co Ga (Cedartown?) to John WSS Dean. Oct 1997: Per Ken Thompson via e-mail, Marriage Record in Polk Co Ga for 12 July 1877 to John WSS Dean. Dec 1997: Per Karen Graves who received phone call from Nan Gough, PO Box Bryan Tx 77805 about Dianna. Nan is a descendant of Dean & 2nd wife Mary Onstott, says family story is that Dean came home during War or just after & found Dianna in bed with a lover & he killed her.
