David Woolley, son of Isaac and Keziah (Conkling) Wooley was born on 10 June 1820 probably in Hamilton County, Ohio. He is listed in the 1850 census of Cincinnati (Hamilton County), Ohio. The census shows his wife, Martha H. age 20 and son William O. Woolley age four months. In May, 1859 David Woolley and his wife Martha sold land in Hamilton County, Ohio. Truman Conklin, his cousin acted as attorney for this transaction. The Cincinnati City Directory lists him as a bricklayer in 1851 and 1866 and living at 323 Cutter. There is no City Directory entry for 1867 or 1868. It appears that he married a second time to Minerva.
