Bro. Stillman was converted in early life and unified with the First Alfred Church. He was married Jan. 1, 1827, to Maranda Coon. Three daughters were born to this couple, all of whom died in early or middle life. Bro. Stillman came to Albion with the first settlers in 1841. He made this his home, and was one of the constituent members of this church, of which he continued a faithful member through its fifty years of existence.
