March 19th, 1879, of congestion of the lungs, Mrs. Maranda Stillman, aged 68 years, 11 months, and 1 day. The subject of this notice experienced religion when but twelve years of age, and united with the First Seventh-day Baptist Church of Alfred, N. Y. On the 1st of January, 1827, she was married to David Stillman, with whom she lived a faithful and devoted wife until her decease, a period of more than fifty-two years.
Some time after her marriage, she, with her husband, moved to Hebron, Penn., and was among the constituent members of the Seventh-day Baptist Church of that place. In 1841, she with her family, came to Albion, Wis., where she assisted in the organization of the Albion Church, of which she remained a faithful member until her death. She was the mother of three daughters, all of whom preceded her to that bourne from which no traveler e'er returns. Thus our ranks are being depleted, and who are the faithful ones to fill them up?
