Utica Observer-Dispatch, 10 Sep 2006: DAVID C. RAUT OF UTICA-- David C. Raut, 69, a resident of DSO of York St., Utica, passed away September 7, 2006 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. David was born in Rome, NY, October 25, 1936, the son of Clarence W. and Lena Durgee Raut. He grew up in Vienna, NY and Camden Schools. He moved to Utica a number of years ago and worked different jobs at various workshops throughout Utica. Mr. Raut is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and John L. Cooley of Deerfield, NY. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, David was predeceased by a brother, James A. Raut. A graveside service for Mr. Raut will be held Monday, September 11, 2006, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Claude Marvin officiating at Vienna Cemetery in McConnellsville, NY
