David was a 4th Generation Appalachian American.

David was born in August 1873 in Montgomery County Kentucky USA.

His parents were George Dale and Mary Johnson.

In 1880 David was living with his parents and 6 siblings in Aarons Run, Montgomery County, Kentucky, United States , He was 6 years old.

He married Mary Griffith on 05 Jan 1898 In Menifee County, Kentucky.

Together they had 2 children:

  • Cordia Candy Dale
  • Ida Dale [4]

He married Cora Lovelace on 9 April 1904 in Menifee County, Kentucky, United State.
