Cora was born on September 30, 1885 in Menifee County Kentucky.

Her parents were Jeff and Ella (Bowlin) Lovelace and she had at least 7 siblings.

In 1900 she lived in Magisterial District 2, Menifee County, Kentucky, United States with her parents and 5 siblings. She was 13 years old. [2]

She first married David Dale on 9 Apr 1904 in Menifee, Kentucky, United States. [3]

Together they had 2 children:

  • Johnny Estell
  • Elizabeth Mae who md. Elize Tackett in 1953. [4]

Cora married David’s brother Ed around 1908 and he raised David’s daughter as his own. Ed and Cora had eight children together and were married 55 years. [5]
