Her parents were Edward Thomas Dale and Cora Bell (Lovelace) Dale. [2] In 1920 Ivy lived with her parents and siblings in Aarons Runn, Montgomery County, Kentucky with her parents and siblings. [2] Iva married Willie Lee Kincaid before 1928 because they had a son in 1928. [3]

In 1935 and 1940 She lived in Mag Dist No 4 North Middletown, Kentucky. On June 1st, 1950 She was living with her husband and children in Little Rock, District 3, Bourbon County, Kentucky. [4]

Iva died on July 21, 1986 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. She was laid to rest in North Middletown Cemetery in North Middletown, Kentucky.[1]
