Many data here reported Apr. 1998 by Janet Hubbard. Some from collection of Richard Praetor via Deidre Cox Jan. 1999 (a little conflict in those two reports, but neither included specific documentation to guide further evaluation). Data received in 1979 from Urah Pearl Snell of Aledo, IL matches some of this data and confirms some spouse parentage (see Mary M. Braucht, dau. of John Braucht and Catherine Ritter married to William Epperly, Jr.; also Lovina/Louisa/Levina Braucht married to Andrew Jackson Epperly, dau of Daniel Braucht and Catherine Spreacher). However Praetor data claims Daniel's wife of these children here was Anna Catherine Lotspeich, married abt 1839 in Hancock Co., OH; she born in Lancaster Co, PA and died 24 Aprl 1910 in Johnson Co.,MO at age 89. 1900 columbus Tsp. Johnson Co., MO census show Anna C. Braucht and 9 children (8 living at that date) and her granddaughter Edith Brown (born Mary 1892) living with her. He adds that Edith Brown's parents were born F=MO and M=IL. Of course one nice solution to this wife conflict matter would be that Anna Catherine Spreacher and Anna Catherine Lotspeich are the same lady and the surname difference explained by either her earlier marriage or her adoption, etc. Because the birth dates and all but surname are identical, I strongly suspect this is indeed the same lady. I am certain that the Praetor data on Mary Ann Spreacher and David Braught, Sr. is not accurate [ his data lists several children who belong to David, son of Adam and Rebecca Imboden) and Margaret (Marks) Braught and I have ample documentation to support my data on those people]. This is a mistake I made in early research also, so I surely do appreciate the confusion of people living next to each other with almost identical names and townships (but adjacent townships and different ancestors who I am confident are indeed related with common parentage earlier). Doug & Marti Nelson found records of Johnson County, MO land belonging to Daniel. On FTM CD of OH Marriage Index 1789-1850 is found Daniel Braucht married 16 Jun 1840 to Catherine Spracher at Hancock Co., OH reported in LDS film #1299131 (that film also shows marriages of David Braught and Joanna Brown; Catherine Braucht and John Fisher; John Braucht and Catherine Ritter, and Samuel Braucht to Rachel Byal.
