EMMER, CLARENCE A. SR. Haslett

Age 86, died November 1, 1991. Mr. Emmer was born February 1, 1905 in Flint, MI. He was an employee of Oldsmobile for 38 years and was a member of St. Mary Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter Phyllis, grandson, Donald and granddaughter, Janice. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Hazel; 1 daughter, Mary (Larry Louth of Laingsburg; 4 sons, Clarency (Mary) Emmer Jr., Donald (Velva) Emmer, James (Rhonda) Emmer and Robert (Muriel) Emmer all of Haslett; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Katie Linn of Okemos, and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at Grosline-Runcman East Chapel, East Lansing on Monday at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Steven Makranyi, Pastor, St. Mary Ctholic Church, officiating. The Rite of Committal will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. Casket bears will be Daniel O'Bryant, Charles Cassidy, Charles Cassidy, Jr., Scott Steele, Robert Lerch and Bruce Cameron. The family will receive friends at the Chapel Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Friends desiring may make contributions to St. Mary Catholic Church in memory of Mr. Emmer.
