EMMER, WALTER S. SR. Haslett

Age 81, died February 7, 1989. Born August 6, 1907 in Woodhull Township, Mr. Emmer was a veteran of World War II and employed with Oldsmobile for 42 years. He was a member of American Legion Post #269 Haslett. Predeceased by his wife, Nellie (1984), Mr. Emmer is survived by 1 son, Walter S. Jr. (JoAnn) of Elsie; 2 grandchildren, Wally and Debbie; 1brother, Clarence of Haslett; 1 sister, Kate Linn of Okemos; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, 1 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman East Chapel, East Lansing, with interment in East Lawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Chapel Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
