    Page 553 – Barbara, married to Sir Coll Lamont of Inneryne. Her husband, with consent of his parents, granted her a liferent charter of the lands of Inneryne and others, and an annuity in implement of the contract of marriage between him and her, which charter is dated 19 January 1610. He died about the year 1634. She was alive in 1642, and by her he had issue three sons and four daughters.

    Barbara Sempill was the daughter of Robert Sempill, 4th Lord Sempill and Lady Agnes Montgomerie.2 She married Sir Coll Lamont of that Ilk, son of James Lamont of that Ilk and Moir MacLachlan, before 19 January 1610.1 She died circa 1634.1
    From before 19 January 1610, her married name became Lamont.
