Information on Bartholomew McKee

Bartholomew McKee was born on Feb. 10, 1779 in Frederick County and died June 3, 1864. He served in the War of 1812 and drew a service pension from Sept. 22, 1858 until his death. Bartholomew lived during three major wars, the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, and the War Between the States. On Feb. 22, 1802, he married Nancy Ann Reid, who may have been a daughter of George Reid. Nancy was born Sept. 12, 1786 and died April 21, 1868, in Frederick County. The writer is in possession of the Bartholomew McKee family Bible.
