Information on Eleanor McKee

Eleanor McKee was born Oct. 6, 1810 and died Nov. 3, 1876. She married George Smith, Jr., son of George and Frances (Cutlet) Smith. Feb. 5, 1835. George was born October 1. 1807 and died Dec. 2, 1895. They lived and died In Frederick County, and were buried in Ebenezer Christian Church Cemetery on Timber Ridge. The following are known children of George and Eleanor Smith: (1) Nancy F. Smith (2) Margaret C. Smith was born In 1837. (3) James B. Smith was born June 15, 1838 and died March 3, 1886. He married a woman named Fannie, who died on Nov. 2, 1902, aged 57 years. They were buried at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Cemetery in Morgan County, W.Va. (4) Massy A Smith was born Jan. 20, 1845, and died April 26, 1926. She married Poland Fletcher, born Aug 15, 1829 and died Nov. 18, 1878. They were also buried in Ebenezer Church Cemetery. (5) Samuel Zachary Taylor Smith was born Aug. 26, 1848. and died May 17, 1888. His wile was named Ann Rebecca. (6) Patience P. Smith (7) Virginia Ellen Smith was born April 8, 1855 and died March 27. 1943. She married George Washington Ogden. They migrated to one of the counties in West Virginia.
