Daily Times-News, The Monday, February 25, 1974 Ava Graves Rich, 71, of 812 Kilby St died Sunday at 4 a.m. in a local hospital following a short illness.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Martin Everette Graves and Millie ISLEY Graves, and the wife of Wayne E. Rich, who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters. Mrs.. Benners H. Haley. Rt. 4. Mebane, Mrs.. Billy F. Andrews. Floyds Knob. Ind.: son. James M. Rich. Burlington; sisters. Mrs.. Elbert Scott. Rt. 6. Burlington. Mrs.. Zack Tingen. Rt. 2. Snow Camp. Mrs.. Ed B. Combs. Burlington: brothers Lester L. Graves. Rt. 1. Graham. Algie L- Graves. Burlington. Howard W. Graves. Rt. 2. Snow Camp. Virgil W. Graves. Rainelle. W. Va.: six grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.

Final rites will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington. The Rev. R.E.L. Moser. pastor of Davis Street Tailed Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park, Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. The body will remain at the Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington through the vice.

The family will be at the mortuary today from 7 to 9 p m.
