Clark Benzonia - Arthur Edward Clark 74, of Benzie Hwy, Benzonia, died at home Thursday. He was born Sept. 10, 1905 in Homestead Twp., Benzie County the son of Golden E. & Inez G. (Groh) Clark; On Sept. 14, 1938, he married the former Margaret I. Long in Onekama, and she survives. Other survivors include a son, Albert, of Benzonia; two step-sons, Edison Kagey of Beulah Colo. and Allen Kagey of Baldwin; two daughters, Rosemary Tanner of Midland and Linda Stanfield of Benzonia; A step-daughter Joan Coggins of Alpena; A sister, Marie Burmeister of Racine, Wisc.; 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A daughter, A brother Claence and a sister, Mildred Rush preceded him in death. He was a life time resident of this area and was employed in retail food sales as a meat cutter. Funeral servicies will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home in Beulah, with Rev. Fred R. Krauss officiating. Burial will be in the Benzonia Twp. cemetery. Friends may call today and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Bennett Funeral Home, and on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services.
