Children: Edith (Smith) and Gordon. Settled in Nanaimo in the 1890's and for some years was manager of a large farm operated by the local coal mining company to raise feed for the horses and mules used in the mines. Around 1905, or shortly after, he left Nanaimo and lived in Vancouver and then Alberta before moving to Sacramento, California about 1930. He died there.S1
