Married Marie Mae Hanna. Children: Harold Sherratt, Edna Annie (Dow). Moved to Ladner, British Columbia about 1891 where he worked as a farmhand for his brother John. Trained as a cabinet maker. Married Marie Mae Hanna of Belwood, Ontario who was the housekepper for her brothers on their farm. They were married in 1893 and moved to Nanaimo where he worked as a stableman in the underground stables in the mines. When brother Archibald left Nanaimo, Thomas became manager of the farm and subsequently became Superintedent of the Lands for the mines. His son Harold Sherratt Cunningham was killed in WWI, and daughter Edna Dow lived in Nanaimo for many years and died in 1976.S1
