Thomas Fox was a member of the Concord church and lived near the "Great Swamp" north of the church, on the road to Billerica. In 1644 he was a freeman at Concord. After the death of Thomas, his wife Hannah and their young sons Thomas, Samuel, and John moved to New London, Conn., where she became the third wife of Andrew Lester and had three sons by him. David was a soldier in the Phipps Expedition to Quebec and probably never went to New London (George Henry Fox, Descendants of Eliphalet Fox, -1644, of Concord, Mass., First Son of Thomas Fox, Five Generations [New York, 1931]).
