Ann Collop was baptised on 29th April 1722 at Stotfold in Bedfordshire, daughter of Elizabeth and John Collop.

In 1743, when she was 20 years old, Ann married a labourer named William Moles. Ann and William stayed in Stotfold after their marriage, where they had six children between 1743 and 1752, although one died as a baby.

William died in 1768, aged 48. Ann's mother died the following year.

Ann survived William by 26 years. Her first known grandchild was born in 1776, and Ann would see at least eleven grandchildren born in her lifetime, although some of them died young.

Ann died aged 72, being buried at Stotfold on 16th November 1794.

Needs to be confirmed at Bedfordshire Archives. This baptism has been linked to the Ann Collop who married William Moles on the basis that it is in the same parish in which the adult Ann married, had her children and was buried, and when Ann and William Moles' son Thomas was married at Stotfold in 1778, one of the witnesses was a Thomas Collop, who appears to have been younger brother of this Ann baptised in 1722.
