Obituary[7] 16 Aug 1985 AVON --- Anita R. Storer, 67, died Thursday morning at her home in Avon following a four-month illness.
She was born June 23, 1918, in Phillips, daughter of Carlton and Manette Harnden Haggan. She was educated in the schools of Phillips and Gray's Business School in Portland. She was employed by the Diamond Match Co. of Phillips and Forster Manufacturing Co. Inc. of Strong for several years. She was married to John Storer, Dec. 22, 1945, at Strong. She was a member of the Ladies Social Union and the American Legion Auxiliary of Prescott-Fairbanks Post. She made her home in Avon the past 40 years.
She is survived by her husband of Avon; two sons, Arthur Storer of Avon, and Carroll Haggan of England; a daughter, Joyce Giguere of Kennebunk; her father of Phillips; two sisters, Mrs. June Durrell of Strong and Mrs. Florice Sanders of Phillips; three brothers, Harold Haggan of Strong, Howard Haggan of Farmington and Ronald Haggan of Phillips; and eight grandchildren.
