 There is a record for 'Julius Handcart' married Alta in Bates Co.  In the 1910 census for Rich Hill, Bates Co., Julius 'Hancock' is 25, son of 'Adalph' from Belgium.
 According to her death certificate, Alta C. Hancart was the daughter of James Shankland of Carlisle Kentucky, and Arleta Rockhill of Rockport Ohio; 'had a husband' [?] and died of pneumonia.
