She is on the 1860 Census, age 1, with parents there.[p 93, fam #747/682] On the 1880, with father and step-mother at Dist 232, Mercer Co., Mo.[ED 232, p 152A, fam #1/1] She married John SMITH 1885 in Mercer Co., Mo. He was born Sep 1857 in Mo. On the 1900 census we find John Smith in Washington Twp., Mercer Co., Mo., farming. He is 42, and a farmer on his own general farm. Wife Alice , age 41, was born Dec 1858. They have been married 14 yrs. and have had 3 children, two still living.[ED 122, p 14B, fam #296/298] In 1910, we find them still in Mill Grove. John is 53 and still farming. Alice, 52, states they have been married 24 years and that she has born 3 children, 2 alive at this time. Both sons still in the home, as is Scott's bride, Eunice.[ED 126, p 13A, fam #269/273]
