He is on the 1880 census, 18, with parents in Mercer Co., Mo.[ED 232, p 152A, fam #1/1] On the 1900 census, he is 34, and a single farmer, boarding with William Brewer, in Kickapoo Twp., Lincoln Co., Okla.[ED 122, p 12, fam #249/250] He married Ann McCABE 23 Feb 1902 in McLoud, Shawnee Co., Okla. She was born 1885. On the 1910 census, Lincoln Co., Okla., he is 39, and wife, Annie is 25. His age is off by 10 years, but this was a common transcription error on the census. [ED 99, p 16A, fam #221/230] They lived in Oklahoma City, Okla., until his death in May 1935 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
