Death[1][2] 14 Jan 1876 Collingwood, Grey, Ontario, CanadaBeaver Valley Farm

I remember when a younger brother, Alexander, died on January 14, 1876. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Coleman (sic) [note by Rick Moffat - Neil McColman married Martha Green. Her sister, Mary, married Samuel White, brother of T.B. White and an uncle of the writer) were there the night before and I remember the almost-frenzy that Mother was in. (Alexander, b. May 31, 1875). The next morning I remember coming to the foot of the stairs, leaning out of the door while still on the stair, asking how he was, and being told that he was dead.
