  12. from Dorothy Haegele Weller: "Cora (Krumm) and siblings were close toAbraham and Sarah and visited them in Van Wert, which was the longestdistance that Cora had ever traveled from her home in rural Pataskala asof 1975. After Sarah's death, Abraham was very lonely and asked Cora tomarry him and be his companion. He offered her a $6,000 diamond ring, but Cora, in her early 40's by then was not interested in making such achange in her simple life. Abraham was in his 70's and Cora did not haveromantic feelings for him, although she had always cared about his asone of her favorite uncles. She was also concerned about who wouldreally clean that big house of theirs... ;-)"
