The index for Orange County Order Book 3 is lost so I've been readingthe microfilm page by page looking for anything that might be of use to us. I found the following on page 241. 24 Sep 1742: In the action of Debt between the Revd. Wm. Williams Plt and Thomas Rutherford & Samuel Walker Defts [Defts struck through] otherwise called Thomas Rutherford and Samuel Walker of Orange County Defts. The Defts not appearing and the sheriff having returned copy left for Thos Rutherford & executed on Saml Walker Samuel Britton Security [illegible] Motion its ordered that an Alias Capias issued agst the Deft. Rutherford [illegible] Judgement is granted Plt agst Walker & Samuel Britton his Security for [remainder illegible].
