Commentary

The Walker YDNA Project currently (September 2011) contains three kits whose owners trace their descent to Person:Lewis Walker (3), a Quaker, and native of Wales who immigrated to Pennsylvania by 1688. Lewis settled in Radnor, Chester County, PA. One of his sons co-owned the "Valley Forge", made famous during the US Revolution.

Of the three kits, one includes results for 12 markers, the other two for 39 markers. The 39-marker kits show a dissimilarity of 3/39 or 7.9%, and lay on the extreme end of the acceptance criteria range (up to 8%). Additional testing of all three kits would be helpful.
