Harmon, McComb, was married to Jack F. Schauweker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schauweker, Avilla, Ind., Nov. 19 in McComb Methodist Church. The Rev. C. E. Jeffers officiated. Mrs. Margaret Farries, Ft. Wayne, Ind., former classmate of the bride at Methodist Hospital school of nursing, Fort Wayne, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Sally Schauweker, Avilla, sister of the bridegroom, and Leah Nell Pendleton, McComb and Cleveland. Julie Ann Collins, Saline, Mich., cousin of the bride, was flower girl, and Chad Schauweker, Avilla, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer. Best man was the bridegroom's brother, Walter Schauweker, Avilla, and ushers were Roger Harrod and Paul Geinger, both of Avilla. A reception was held in the church parlors. After a trip south the couple will live temporarily in Avilla until the bridegroom enters the armed forces.)

(Schauweker, Geraldine - Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schauweker were called this week to Ohio by the death of their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Geraldine Mae (Harmon) Schauweker, 37, wife of Jack F. Schauweker, a former Avilla resident. She died Sunday in the Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, Ohio, after a long illness. She was born May 16, 1928, the daughter of Floyd and Verna Harmon and married Mr. Schauweker Nov. 19, 1950. She was a graduate of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, Fort Wayne. Surviving in addition to the husband are two sons, Tom, 8, and John, 5, and the parents. Services Wednesday in the McComb, Ohio, Methodist Church and burial was made in the McComb Union Cemetery.)

(Bender, Sandra S, 57, of Kendallville, died Friday at her residence. She was born in Avilla Nov. 24, 1934 to Walter and Pearl (Simon) Schauweker. On Feb. 20, 1954 in Avilla she married Ralph Bender. She was a secretary at East Noble High School, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Avilla, Alpha Associate Chapter of Tri Kappa and East Noble Education Secretaries Association. Surviving are her husband; 3 daughters, Mrs. Robert (Cynthia) Palmer and Mrs. Ronald (Lori) Thomas of South Bend, and Mary of Kendallville; a son, Craig of Kendallville; 2 sisters, Mrs. William (Patricia) Bailey of Avon, and Mrs. Kenneth (Sally) Sibert of Avilla; 2 brothers, Walter Schauweker Jr. of Amarillo, Tex., and Jack Schauweker of Houston, Tex.; and 2 grandchildren. Funeral mass today in St. Mary's Church. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery.)
