Long Prairie Leader - Friday, Nov. 22, 1895 - page 1, columns 1 & 2.
Joined in Wedlock.-- A double wedding took place at the Catholic church Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock, when four quite well known young people were made two. Mr. Anton Hengemuhle was married to Miss Augusta Speiker, and Paul Stephan to Miss Bertha Rosner. Rev. Bender spoke the words that united them for life. Mr. and Mrs. Hengemuhle will begin housekeeping at once in J.J. Determahn's farm house one mile east of town, Antone having rented the farm, while Mr. and Mrs. Stephan will begin life's work together in a new house Paul has just built on his farm about two miles north of town. The LEADER joins with the friends of these young people in extending best wishes.
