Family:Lancelot Mansfield and Anne Eure (1)

Lancelot also received a grant from William Flower, Narroy King of Arms, dated 20 Sept 1563. A copy of this grant was in the possession of American descendants in 1850. Another copy of this grant is in the Bodleian Library. Attached to this grant is a pedigree dated 30 Nov 1587, apparently drawn up on behalf of John Mansfield, Lancelot's oldest living son. The pedigree indicates that Lancelot's wife and John's mother was Anne Eure, "the sister of Will[ia]m, Lord Oure [Eure]." In addition, Dalton's Visitation of 1558 states that Sir Ralph Eure had a daugheter Anne who was the wife of Launcelott Myrefyld of Yorkseshere."
