This marriage has been linked to the James Marshall baptised in 1804 at Kimpton on the basis of the 1841, 1851, 1861 and 1871 censuses from which it is clear that James and Hannah stayed at Hatfield for a few years after their marriage before moving to Sarratt and then Watford - and James consistently gave his place of birth as either Kimpton or King's Walden.
