The author reviews contemporary evidence to rule out Hannah Titcomb as wife of Edward and confirm that she was Hannah Partridge, daughter of William Partridge and Ann Spicer of Salisbury. Edward and Hannah's first child was recorded at Salisbury on 19 Sept 1661, supporting the marriage date of 1660.
