probably Port Huron. The clipping reads "Miss Jean Clark, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs,. J. D. Clark, And Earl Russel Whitmore, assistant city engineer, were married at the home of the bride on Ninth street today at 12:30 o'clock. Rev. D. H. Campbell, Methodist minister at Imlay City, and an uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony in the presence of 15 guests. The bridal marched in to the strains of the Lohengrin wedding march wich was played by the bride's sister, Miss Grace Clark. The groom's sister Miss Sarah Whitmore, acted as bridesmaid while the best man was Archie Clark,m brother of the bride. The bride was gowned in fawn colored silk and carried a boquet of white bridal roses. Teh bridesmaid was dressed in white. The decorations were very neat and the color scheme was green, white and pink. After the ceremony the party sat down to an elaboate wedding dinner and this afternoon, Mr. and Mr.s Whitmore left for a trip through the west. The will regurn abou October first and will be at home to their friends in their already furnished house at 1042 Water street. They are the recipients of many handsome gifts among which is an expensive silver tea set presented by City Engineer Phelps and other city employees. The out-of-town guests included the grooms mother fro Clare, and sisters Miss Sarah Whitmore, of Owosso, and Mrs. Cole, of Clare, and Rev. and Mrs. D.H. Campbell. of Imlay City.
