Family:Albert Apel and Helen Tamplin (1)

Helen Dean Tamplin was born 11 October 1895 in Ohio and lived in Indiana as a child, but her family was living in Detroit by 1910 when she was 15. She married Albert Ignatius Apel on 12 August 1916 when she was 21 and he 28. They had two children, Beverly Jean Apel, born 11 May 1917, and Robert Allen Apel, born 8 July 1919. Robert died on 10 March 1932 at the age of 12 but Beverly married and had two children. In 1944, at age 49, Helen had a major stroke and was bed-ridden. She died on 28 March 1955.
