Leaving messages on the WeRelate site [30 March 2022]

Hello and Welcome to WeRelate.
I am a volunteer administrator here, and I see that you have recently left messages on the Portal talk:Community page and the User talk:Robin Patterson. Based on what you wrote, I think that you might be trying to connect with other researchers that are interested in the names you mentioned, so I thought I might share some tips on how best to do that here.

The "Talk" pages are used for discussions that pertain to whichever main page they are attached to. So, for example the Portal talk:Community page is for discussing topics that have to do with the Portal:Community page.

To connect with other researchers who are interested in President John Adams, you will have better luck if you leave your questions/message on his Person:talk page, Person talk:John Adams (29), which doesn't have any messages on it yet, or you could leave your message on the Family:talk pages for either his parents and siblings or his spouse and children. Any of those pages have several "Watchers" listed who may be specifically interested in those families.
