Ellis Steele Clarke [20 May 2012]

Hi Gary, you asked why I was watching Ellis Steele Clarke. His son John Clifford married a descendant of my Pointon family and I was hoping to get more info about John and his descendants. If you have any, I would be very interested. Regards, Sharon.--Shaz1 05:02, 19 May 2012 (EDT)

Hi again Gary. John Clifford Clarke's wife was Lillie Elizabeth Holmes. Her mother was Louisa Eliza Pointon. I am descended from Louisa' brother, John Edwin. Their parents were convicts Frederick Pointon and Louisa Wright. I am working through including all of their descendants (that are no longer living) on the tree. Thanks very much for the names of John's children. Do you have any other info on them? The other info you have supplied is a bit remote for me to include in my tree as I still have lots of work to do on my, and my husband's, "cousins". Just a suggestion - why don't you put the other info you have on the Clarke family on this site? It can be a bit confusing to start off with, but it is not difficult once you get the hang of it. That's the beauty of this site - we can all work together to make a global tree. If you have already put info on this site, please don't be offended at my suggestion, but let me know if you want any help. Regards, Sharon.
