WeRelate is different from most family tree websites. By contributing to WeRelate you are helping to create Pando for genealogy, a free, unified family tree that combines the best information from all contributors.

Now that you have uploaded Nijenberg.ged, your next step is to review what your pages will look like, review any potential warnings, and combine (merge) people in your GEDCOM with matching people already on WeRelate. You need to review your GEDCOM before it can finish importing. We will keep your GEDCOM in the queue for two weeks to give you time to review it.

Beulake [7 jan 2017]

Dag Ad,

Ik ben bezig met een bevolkingsreconstructie van Beulake. Ben ook van jou een aantal entries tegengekomen.

Wat betreft de naamgeving: Heb je ook m'n reactie bij Klaas gezien? De suggestie dat het grondgebied van Beulake niet bij de vm (1900) gemeente Wanneperveen zou horen is onjuist. De Kuyper atlas van gemeenten is daarover wel duidelijk.

Blijft de vraag over of je die vm gemeente wilt zien. Ik zou voorstellen van wel: 1) dat is nou één keer de afspraak op deze site 2) je kunt een andere plaatsverwijzing laten zien, maar die verwijst toch weer naar de onderliggende plaats inclusief die gemeente. Persoonlijk vind ik het er ook erg rommelig uit zien met die streep en dan nog een keer een plaats (en met een beetje pech wordt het ook rood afgedrukt). Maar m'n belangrijkste punt is dat als je hier aan het spelletje mee doet, je je ook aan de spelregels moet houden.

Andere vraag: in je entries zit nog veel "rommel": tekst die waarschijnlijk bij uploaden van gedcoms is ontstaan. Als je er geen bezwaar tegen hebt, haal ik dat weg als ik het tegenkom.
